On Friday, after the morning barn we packed a picnic lunch and horses, and drove to the "neighboring mountain" on the other side. Hafdis talked with a couple of other people present and then we were off.

| Journey to the top has begun, you can see how high we are if you check the road |
First we went to the lower slope of the mountain herding a couple of sheep in the road , and then we went to the other side of the road to herd more sheep group in the south end of the mountain.
Blesi was restless and a bit crazy horse. Hafdis helped with putting two sheep inside the car on the road. I held her horse, but I had to come down from the saddle because Blesi was becoming restless. We continued our journey to the other side of the road into the mountainside.

| Aye, over there? |
In the beginning we had to wait a lot. Progress was slow because we had to herd the sheep and go up and down at times. In some places we had to lead the horses. Ups and downs were mainly steep, I never would have thought have about riding in so challenging terrain. The weather was mainly good, only once there came a time when I was cold.

Any sheep in sight?
 |
| From there you could climb up or go down with speed, neither of which seemed to make sense but thats what you did. |

So the sheep were herded to the south end of the mountain, and from there up towards the mountain top. The aim was to get the sheep to the other side of the mountain, where they would be herded, where they would be herded down to a fenced area near the farm on Saturday.
We went back down from the top. This time we went down some kind of a road. Once down, we took the equipment off the horses and Hafdis and Haldor loaded the horses to the trailer. It was time to go back home.
